EVENING FAERIE

At twilight as the daylight softens and sunset touches the garden flowers with gold and pink, the Evening Faerie comes out to work her magic.

In a dress of soft gray spun together with spider silk, she moves among the blossoms. Her love for them is evident as she touches each one and sings it to sleep. The petals curl up for the night, guided gently into place by her tiny fingertips. As they slumber, she frolics about the garden in the moonlight and often drinks faerie wine left in the bottom of flower cups by the Beekeeper faerie.

The last hours before dawn are spent tending the sick flowers and plants by sprinkling them with faerie dust to make them well.
